OSX 10.6, Mac just went better!

Received my Mac OSX Snow Leopard upgrade disk today.
Was excited this OSX upgrade for pass few months, wondering what a true 64bit, Grand Central Dispatch and OpenCL able to impact my Macbook pro.
刚刚收到最新的MAC OSX “雪豹” 的升级光碟。
这个让我期待数月的升级版，不知到全64bit，Grand Central Dispatch和OpenCL会为我的Macbook Pro带来什么样的冲击呢？
The installation took around 1 hour.
Booted up, saw the new SL version of aurora wallpaper. Luckily i never encounter any system errors or crashes or missing files because i’ll be dead tomorrow if that happen since all working files are saved in my Mac. Performance wise i did really feel the applications run smoother, better Exposé better stack folder navigation etc. And impressively an 8GB of hard disk space regained, 2GB more than what apple announced! I guess i’ll never get this benefit when upgrade Windows 7 from Windows Vista.

启动完毕后看到新的“雪豹”版北极光桌面。值得庆幸的是没有任何系统故障和文件遗失，因为这儿存入了许多工作上所需的文件。效能上来说是有比较顺畅了一点，有更好的Exposé和重叠文件夹。不能不提的是能回收8GB的硬碟空间，比Apple官网公布的6GB还来得多！我看这个优点是没办法从升级Windows Vista到Windows 7中得到的。

Quicktime X is one of the best improvement as well, the program startup at a breeze compared to previous version that gotta wait for a couple of second, simpler interface made me switch back to QT from VLC player. Overall pretty good and satisfied for an upgrade that costed me only RM109. ($29 internationally) There are many more updates on the lastest OSX 10.6, can logon to www.apple.com for full datails.
Quicktime X 亦是一个改进不少的软件，它的启动时间大幅降低。和旧版本的比较下这个新的快多啦。 而且它的界面亦简单和美化了，成功把我从VLC转会来用Quicktime X。大致上我是很满意这个升级版，皆因我只付了109马币（国际是美金29）。当然“雪豹”不只有这么少新改进，可到www.apple.com查阅全部细节。
