Photo shoot with the model, Kat. The location is Heritage hotel at KTM Station, Kuala Lumpur.
This is my first outdoor fashion photo shoot with model, kinda challenging in my opinion.
Why? Because it’s not only point the camera to model, compose half body or face of the model. I have to take consideration of the surroundings, the building or even the sky and clouds. It really need to take some effort to look around and think what and how to shoot. And i did some experiment with my 2 lenses in this session, the Tamro 17-50mm f2.8 and Nikkor 50mm f1.8. Before this i never know the subject isolation is much greater with the 50mm prime, and bokeh are so much better as well. From now on i’ll never feel hesitate to switch lens whenever the 50mm is usable.
Beside taking outdoor, me and the fellows also walk inside the hotel and took some shots.
This place is good place for photographs, many wedding photos are taken there and you also can find lots of people with DSLR walking around there.

Media Prima TV Networks Screening 2010

I was given a chance to visit the Media Prima TV Networks Screenings 2010 that held on 31 October 2009, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The first thing that came into my mind is “wow, is a good chance to brush up my event photography skills”, so i feel no hesitation to go. Some more TVB actor and actress Cheng Kah Weng and Fala Chen are invited to the screenings, and my luck are good enough can get a few shots of them.
十分有幸的我有机会亲临10月31日在吉隆坡展览厅举办的首要媒体电视网络2010年screenings。
第一个想到的事情是“哇，这是个很好训练自己拍event照的机会”，所以我毫不犹豫就去了。再加上TVB演员郑嘉荣和陈法拉也受邀出席，而我也十分幸运可以拍到他们几张照片。
Kinda challenging because of the different lightings around the place. And first time struggle for more reach to do stage performance photography, craving for a fast telezoom lens! But still had lots of fun taking pictures there, a very good experience i would say.

整体来说这次的拍摄对我来说是挺有挑战性的，因为需要对环境不同的灯光进行调整。
也第一次觉得有焦段不够想抓狂的感觉，真是很想要有支大光圈长焦镜啊。不过我是满享受整个过程的，给了我不少经验。

Photo Outing - Elizabelle

Continue from the previous post, Elizabelle is my second model of photo shooting.
She is a girl that really give and voice out her comments on my photographs, discuss what kind of shot she wanted to approach. She likes to try with bigger poses which bring out the beauty in images but i guess i failed to achieve what she want. 
But also thanks to her, i learned that the communication between photographer and model are really important. I need more practise!!

Photo Outing - Crystal

Just joined a photo shoot outing together with Cari Forum Nikon D90 user group.
The model that assigned to my team is Crystal, a very cute and friendly model. This is the first time join model session ever, i feel this is really a good chance for me to gain experience from the seniors. Well, I don’t even know how to ask the model to pose so don’t judge my photos strictly. :p
